The Story of Dyslexia

This is a very moving 30 minute production depicting dyslexic students portraying the road they have taken to become successful in school and in life.

Slingerland Institute for Literacy

The Slingerland Institute for Literacy is a non-profit organization that trains teachers to work with dyslexic students in their classrooms using the Slingerland Multisensory Approach (a classroom adaptation of Orton-Gillinham). This methodology is a simultaneous, multisensory, structured approach for teaching language arts in the classroom. The Slingerland Multisensory Approach for Teaching Language Arts Training Course is accredited at the Teacher and Instructor of Teaching levels by the International Multisensory Structured Language Educational Council (IMSLEC).
